24 Useful Claude Installs

Claude now groups plugins, skills, and connectors under Customize. You do not need all 24. Start with one repeated job, inspect what the install contains, and connect only the data that job needs.

Before you start

Plugins are available on supported paid plans and directories can differ by account or organization. Open Customize, then browse the current Skills, Connectors, and Plugins tabs.

Terms to know

• Plugin: a package that can bundle skills, connectors, sub-agents, commands, or hooks.
• Skill: instructions Claude follows for a specific job.
• Connector: access to an outside service or data source.

Step-by-step

Browse the current Claude plugin directory, connector directory, and unified-directory instructions.

Eight plugin jobs: productivity, enterprise search, sales, finance, data, legal, marketing, and customer support.

Eight skill jobs: writing review, spreadsheet analysis, document creation, presentation building, design critique, research synthesis, code review, and project planning.

Eight connector jobs: Google Drive, Gmail, Google Calendar, Slack, Notion, GitHub, Figma, and one CRM or project-management service your team already uses.

Install the first item that supports a real weekly task. Open the installed item and review every included skill, connector, agent, hook, local server, script, and permission.

Things to know

Anthropic says community plugins may include external or local software, and only some entries carry an Anthropic Verified badge. Review source code and publisher details before installation. Organization administrators may restrict available items.

If something goes wrong

If Customize does not show all three tabs, check your plan, product surface, and administrator settings. If an install asks for unexpected access, cancel it and choose a narrower option.

Final check

You pass when the installed item has one named job, its contents and permissions are understood, and a low-risk test succeeds without exposing unrelated data.
